Varicose Veins Treatment

25% of men and 25% of women in the US suffer from Varicose Veins. The problem is from faulty valves within the veins of the leg. When one or more of the valves for the veins does not close properly the veins may conduct blood back into the leg instead of the heart. As more blood gathers, abnormal pressures dilate the superficial system of the vein causing the veins to bulge and become visible into what you would recognize as a varicose vein.

The tendency to get varicose veins has been known to be hereditary. There are various treatments to this condition, some new and some old. Varicose vein surgeries used to be "blind procedures" that required long operative times and many incisions. Many advances have been made in regards to treating this condition.

Dr. Marius Saines is a good friend of Dr. Reisfeld and comes highly recommended in his profession. To learn more please visit his Varicose Veins web site
