Maria no longer fears shaking hands!
Dr. Reisfeld/ Medical Staff:
I wanted to express my gratitude to you for performing this surgery. For as
long as I can remember I have been embarrassed by my sweaty hands. I never
imagined there could be a permanent cure for my condition and I thought it
was something I just had to live with. I tried different forms of treatment
from Drysol to Drionic and nothing seemed to work for me. My hyperhidrosis
was so bad my hands would drip with sweat. It was starting to hinder my social
life as well as my self-esteem. I was living in fear of shaking peoples' hands
because they would be critical of my sweaty palms. Prior to surgery, I was
also suffering from sweating in my underarms.
I just wanted to say "THANKS" to you and your staff. This procedure
is a miracle to me. For the first time in my life, I have dry hands and underarms.
It has definitely made a difference in the way I see life. I now have more
confidence and I'm not afraid to take on new challenges because I'm not afraid
of what people might think of me. Words cannot express my gratitude to you
for how you have changed my life for the better.
I can say the pain was minimal. I would recommend this procedure to those with
similar condition. I am a little sore, mostly in my underarms, but nothing
too bad. There is slight bruising also. The first day was the most pain mostly
from my chest and breathing but by the second day the pain was gone. It was
well worth it to me.
Again, I thank God there was someone out there that could permanently cure
my hyperhidrosis. Thank you Dr. Reisfeld for giving me my life back and helping
out as many people as you do by performing this surgery. Thanks again for checking
up on my recovery. I'm doing awesome.
