Dear Dr. Reisfeld,

This thank you is long over-due, but heartfelt.  It has been seven months since my ETS procedure and I still am in awe that you were able to eliminate my burdensome hand sweating.  Ever since I was 5 years old I can remember dealing with the annoying and intrusive problem of sweaty hands.  I managed to succeed in sales despite the problem, but I felt as if I always had to work twice as hard to make a good first impression since a "wet fish" handshake always gave the impression that I was nervous.   All my life I've been convinced it was a medical problem, but no doctor I talked to knew what to do to help me.   I knew that it wasn't anxiety that caused my sweaty palms- but just the opposite.  My sweaty palms caused me to be anxious.

The confidence that I feel on the inside is finally obvious on the outside.  In addition, I have had virtually no armpit sweating either.  What a joy it is not have to worry about sweating when I decide what to wear each day!  My only regret is that I didn't find you and have the surgery performed many years ago.  What a relief it is to know that if any of my children develop this medical problem I know who to turn to so that they are able to enjoy life without the unneccessary anxiety of sweaty hands.
